On optimal number of cognitive radios considering co-site electromagnetic compatibility

Abstract With the development and wide applications of wireless communication technology, limited spectrum resources fixed allocation policy could no longer satisfy demand for communication. Just this reason, many become holes because they are allocated but not used. Cognitive radio is now becoming one most important techniques high utility these holes. If available to cognitive users abundant over a certain time, it worth consideration increase network throughputs by orthogonal multiplexing as A multi-transceiver configuration possible solutions purpose. such schema, all transceivers within user work in concurrent or parallel mode, which throughput can be increased. However, co-site working radios may incur electromagnetic interference between each other. When more equipped, much incurred. Many proposed mitigate so-siting interference; however, none them have addressed probability that will happen. estimated advance, make better planning on configurations co-siting radios. Based an elaborated n -fold multiple integral model, we propose novel method decide how installed at most. This our main contribution with work, providing enhanced ability determine optimal number user. We strict deduction compatibility various parameters Simulations performed results show simulated system meets deducted very well.
